Uses:
1. Used as imaging agent, dye and drug raw material.
2. Hydroquinone is an intermediate of herbicides quinoline, pyriflonazoline, thiazoline, oxazoline, fluropyloxoline, and lactofluronoline, as well as an intermediate of medicine and dyes.
3. Hydroquinone is mainly used as a photographic developer. Hydroquinone and its alkylates are widely used as inhibitors added during monomer storage and transportation, with a common concentration of about 200ppm. Hydroquinone monomethyl ether is the intermediate of edible oil antioxidant BHA. Hydroquinone dimethyl ether is an intermediate of dyes, organic pigments and fragrances. Hydroquinone diethyl ether is an intermediate of photosensitive pigment and dye. Hydroquinone is also used to make N, N’ -diphenyl-p-phenylenediamine, which is used as an antioxidant and deodorant in rubber and gasoline.
4. Used as an analytical reagent, reducing agent and developer for copper and gold.
5. Determination of phosphorus, magnesium, niobium, copper, silicon and arsenic by colorimetric method. Polarographic and volumetric determination of iridium. Reducing agent of heteropoly acid, reducing agent of copper and gold. Check phosphate, tungstate, nitrate, nitrite, selenium and tellurium.
6. Photometric determination of phosphorus, magnesium, niobium, copper, silicon and arsenic; Polarographic and volumetric determination of iridium; Reducing agent of heteropoly acid; Copper and gold reducing agents; Testing phosphate, tungstate, nitrate, nitrite, selenium and tellurium, etc.; Developer; Antioxidant; Chemical fertilizer industry desulfurizer; Urea synergist.
